සවුත් පෝල් ටෙලෙස්කෝප්

සවුත් පෝල් ටෙලෙස්කෝප් (ඉංග්‍රීසි:  South Pole Telescope, SPT) යනු 10-metre (390 in) විෂ්කම්භයක් ඇති දුරේක්ෂයකි. පිහිටා ඇත්තේ ඇන්ටාක්ටිකාවේ Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station ය. මෙම දුරේක්ෂය විද්‍යුත් චුම්බක වර්ණාවලියේ මයික්‍රෝ තරංග, millimeter-wave, සහ submillimeter-wave කලාප නිරීක්ෂණය කරයි. කොස්මික් මයික්‍රෝ වේව් බැක් ග්‍රවුන්ඩ් (CMB) වෙතින් එන දුර්වල diffuse emission අධ්‍යයන මෙහි ප්‍රධාන අරමුණක් වෙයි.
