ISO 3166-2:AF යනු, ISO 3166-1 හී කේත කර ඇති සමස්ත රටවල ප්‍රධාන උප-කොට්ඨාශයන්හී (නිද., පළාත් හෝ ජනපද) නම් සඳහා කේත අර්ථ දක්වන්නාවූ සහ ප්‍රමිතිකරණය සඳහා වූ අන්තර්ජාතික සංවිධානය (ISO) විසින් ප්‍රකාශිත ISO 3166 ප්‍රමිතියෙහි කොටසක් වන ISO 3166-2 හි ඇෆ්නිස්තානය සඳහා නිවේශිතය වේ.

Currently for Afghanistan, ISO 3166-2 codes are defined for 34 provinces.

Each code consists of two parts, separated by a hyphen. The first part is AF, the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code of Afghanistan. The second part is three letters.
