ඕෂනියාව

ඕෂනියාව (ඉංග්‍රීසි:  Oceania) යනු, Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, සහ Polynesia ඇතුළත් වන භූගෝලීය කලාපයක් වෙයි.ඉංග්‍රීසි කතාකරන ලෝකයෙන් පිටත දී, ඕෂනියාව සාමාන්‍යයෙන් මහාද්වීපයක් ලෙස සැලකෙන මුත්, ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාව දූපතක් හෝ ඕෂනියා මහාද්වීපය තුළ පිහිටි continental landmass ලෙස සැලකෙයි. නැගෙනහිර සහ බටහිර අර්ධගෝල හරහා පැතිරී යන, water hemisphere හි මධ්‍යයේ පිහීටි, ඕෂනියාව 9,000,000 square කිලෝmetres (3,500,000 sq mi) පමණ වන භූමි ප්‍රමාණයකට සහ 2022 වන විට^[update] පැවති දත්ත අනුව මිලියන 44.4 ක පමණ ජනගහණයකට හිමිකම් කියයි. වෙනත් මහාද්වීප හා සැසඳීමේ දී, ඕෂනියාව කුඩාම භූමි ප්‍රමාණයට හිමිකම් කියන අතර ඇන්ටාක්ටිකාවට පසුව එන දෙවන අඩුම ජනගහණය සහිත භූමිය වෙයි.
